Is there a quarantine for pets entering Thailand?

No routine quarantine when your pet meets every requirement. Non-compliant animals can be detained. No routine quarantine. Verbatim: if the animal does not meet the requirements or the microchip code does not match, it 'may be returned to exporting country or detained ... in the quarantine place approved by the government'; the quarantine officer has discretionary detention power over any pet (Thai embassy).
